What a scorcher that was!!!

I think we definitely paid for the beautiful conditions, with extremely tough fishing.

My estimate is just over 120 bass between us, which is great! Having said that all but 3 or 4 were caught before 8 am. The very bright conditions never bode well for the lure fishing, plus our area becomes a hive of activity when the sun is out, with kayakers, paddle boarders and swimmers making lots of noise so conditions after 8 am were far from ideal.

Some chose shorter morning and evening sessions, others trooped on for all 16 hours!!! Each Bass Chaser deserving lots of Bass.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, and added to the great community feel of the bass chase. See you all next year.... if not before at the Bass Challenge 2021!!!

Also a huge thank you to Marcus Hazeldine at Seeker Sport Fishing for donating a guiding session to the top under-18 angler, which was Max Winslade, and Iain Barron on the Brighton Lure Boat for a trip for 2 with the winner to be drawn tomorrow.
